Numeracy & Literacy Room
In this room, our practitioners main focus is to build each child's skills in preparation for school. Our resources are varied to support different abilities and different stages of development, i.e; 2D and 3D shapes.
Practitioners support literacy development through the implementation of the read, write inc method.
we also introduce sensory ailments, like sandpaper letters and numbers, to enhance writing skills.
In numeracy, different specialised equipment alongside day to day resources are provided so children can build the relation of the skill being used in day to day experiences.
