Two-Year-Old Funding (RAS Families)

Top Tots Daycare accepts two-year-old government funding from the term after your child turns two. The two-year-old funding is not a universal offer and is for families receiving additional support. Two-Year-Old Funding (Working Parents)

Top Tots Daycare accepts two-year-old government funding for children whose parents are working. This is not a universal offer and is for parents who are working. Three and Four-Year-Old Universal Funding

Top Tots Daycare accepts three and four-year-old government funding from the term after your child turns three. This government funding entitles your child to 15 funded hours per week at the setting, over 38 weeks of the year. This funding does not need to be applied for as it is universal for all three and four-year-olds.

Thirty Hour Funding

Top Tots Daycare accepts three and four-year-olds who are eligible for government funding for 30 hours a week, across 38 weeks of the year. This funding is not universal and is for children whose parents are working. You are able to check eligibility and apply for thirty hour funding on the link below:

3 years – 5 years	£8.40

For children who are currently on a full-fee payment plan, once your child is eligible for funding, any extra hours outside the funding hours will be charged according to our hourly rate.

15 HOURS’ FUNDING :

Top Tots Daycare will be offering the following hours only for children receiving 15 hours’ weekly funding:

5 days a week 9am-12pm (Term Time only)

OR

3 days a week 9am-2pm (Term time only)

Subject to availability, parents are free to choose the hours they would like their children to attend. However, for any hours that the child attends outside of their funded hours, Top Tots will charge at the hourly rates described above.

Example:

Child X has 15 hours’ funding. Child X attends the nursery Mon-Wed 8am-2pm. Child X will receive funding for Mon-Wed 9am-2pm (15 hours). Child X’s parents will pay fees for Mon-Wed 8am-9am (3 hours per week). Child X will attend the setting for a total of 18 hours per week.

30 HOURS’ FUNDING:

Top Tots Daycare will be offering the following hours only for children receiving 30 hours’ weekly funding:

5 days a week 9am-3pm (Term Time only)

Subject to availability, parents are free to choose the hours they would like their children to attend. However, for any hours that the child attends outside of their funded hours, Top Tots will charge at the hourly rates described above.

Example:

Child Y has 30 hours’ funding. Child Y attends the nursery Mon-Fri 8am-3pm. Child Y will receive funding for Mon-Fri 9am-3pm (30 hours). Child Y’s parents will pay fees for Mon-Fri 8am-9am (5 hours per week). Child Y will attend the setting for a total of 35 hours per week.
